The island of Salina has two ports, one in Santa Marina and the other in Rinella, in the municipality of Leni. Salina is reachable by sea through the Liberty Lines hydrofoil services.
Travel time to reach Salina is one and a half hours. Milazzo (Sicily) is the port with most of the services to reach Salina. There is also a ferry service for those wanting to bring a car.
From Palermo there is one daily hydrofoil to reach Salina. It takes approximately three hours.
From Naples, Mergellina the Snav company offers a hydrofoil that arrives at the Santa Marina port. This hydrofoil takes approximately six hours. The Siremar ferry from Naples leaves twice a week. This ferry also carries cars.
